Choose OnComply if…

  • You have 10 to 500 vendors and want to be running today, not after a sales cycle.
  • You want the price before the conversation. Every plan's price is published.
  • You need more than COIs: W-9s, ACH forms, licenses, and signed contracts in the same checklist.
  • You want expired documents to block work and payment automatically instead of only flagging a dashboard.

Choose TrustLayer if…

  • You have a dedicated risk-management team and want a sales-supported enterprise rollout.
  • Your program benefits from a very large existing verification network.
  • You need third-party attestations and references that only a long-established vendor at that scale carries today.

Common questions

What is the main difference between OnComply and TrustLayer?

The buying model and the target team. TrustLayer is a sales-led platform built for risk managers at larger organizations. OnComply is self-serve with published flat pricing, built for GCs, property managers, and AP teams with 10 to 500 vendors who want collection, validation, and can-work/can-pay enforcement running the same day.

Does TrustLayer publish its pricing?

As of August 2026, TrustLayer does not publish a price list; pricing is provided through its sales process. OnComply publishes every plan: $29, $69, $179, $449, and $999 per month, banded by active vendor count, with a 14-day free trial and no card required.

Do my vendors need to create an account with OnComply?

No. Vendors complete everything through a single link, with no login, no account, and no app download. They upload documents, fill and sign PDFs, and submit forms on any device in one session.

Is OnComply established enough to trust with bank and tax data?

OnComply is a newer, founder-run product, and we treat that objection seriously. Sensitive fields are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using tenant-scoped keys backed by AWS KMS, access is role-controlled with step-up authentication, every action lands in an append-only audit trail, and a DPA is available on all plans. Your data is exportable at any time, so trying it is not a lock-in decision.

Can I switch from TrustLayer to OnComply?

Yes. Create your vendor groups, set document requirements, and invite vendors with one link. Most teams are collecting within a day. Because vendors don't need accounts, there is no vendor-side migration to manage.
